Langston entered the relationship under the impression that Mills was in the process of finalizing a divorce. The relationship remained private, largely due to Mills' political aspirations. Their partnership took a more serious turn in the summer of 2024 when Langston moved into a New Smyrna beach house with Mills. The relationship's dynamics shifted dramatically, marred by incidents such as Mills being photographed with other women and erratic behavior, including accepting cash from unidentified individuals.
The couple's relationship terminated in February after a domestic violence allegation surfaced involving Mills and another woman, Sarah Raviani. Although no charges were filed and Raviani retracted her claims, the damage to Mills and Langston's relationship was irreversible.
Post-breakup, Langston contends that Mills continued to contact her, threatening to share sexually explicit images and videos with potential future partners.
